We had our annual Member Appreciation Banquet on October 14th at The Fisherman’s Cove Marina. We had about 70 well fed folks at the event. The club’s President and Vice President (Danny & Dennis) along with some other members cook the Crappie, Ore-Ida fries, & hush puppies. Brenda Steed made the coleslaw and Ann & Ronnie made a pot of beans. Several of the club’s ladies and spouses made a table full of deserts. After the meal we had some recognition for some of the members that have gone “Above & Beyond” for the club. We had 3 people to receive a perfect attendance award for not missing any meetings this year.
A lot of our members brought items to donate to the cause and we had an Auction to finish up the evening. We had everything from pecan pies to duck boxes. There was a lot of nice items and the auction did real well. Everyone had a good time and was well entertained by David Payne and his daughter Taylor. A Big Thanks to everyone involved.
